Bridgewater Family Band To Virtually Rock Out For Shelter Pets
The Green Planet Band is performing a virtual concert on Saturday at 7 p.m. to raise money for the Somerset Regional Animal Shelter.

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — A Bridgewater family band, The Green Planet Band, is performing a virtual concert on Saturday at 7 p.m. to raise money for the benefit of Somerset Regional Animal Shelter, which is struggling amid the new coronavirus.
"Unfortunately, animals can't fully defend themselves so it's nice to know we can help them through the coronavirus pandemic," the band stated.

The band, which is comprised of tween siblings Kylee, Tyler and Anna Rapp, along with Mama Lisa, started with an elementary school talent show. It has since grown to be a professional rock act with strong vocals by the kids and lead guitar work from Mama.

"Homeless animals are in need now more than ever during these tough times. Any donation will help make an impact. Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to us," the band stated.

Additionally The Green Planet recorded a birthday video to share with loved ones for those having a hard time getting out to the stay-at-home order.
