Dear Fellow Residents of Bridgewater Fire District # 3,

Your elected Bridgewater Fire District #3 Fire Commissioners have determined that it is necessary to replace one of our most heavily used and aging fire engines. If approved by you with a majority vote in the upcoming special election, the fire district will enter into the most financially prudent option, a "Lease to Buy" program, for this most vital piece of fire fighting equipment.
We are asking for taxpayer’s approval not to exceed $650,000. When passed, there will be no impact on the fire district budget previously voted on and approved by you.

This recommendation and request for voter approval is fiscally responsible and necessary to fulfill our mission.
We are asking you to vote "Yes" on Nov. 23 at Green Knoll Fire Station #1, 606 North Bridge St., Bridgewater. A "Yes" vote will ensure that we can "Lease to Buy" a new vehicle and continue protecting the residents of Bridgewater Fire District # 3.
I welcome all questions or comments.
Jeffrey Holtz
