The Bridgewater-based law firm Norris McLaughlin & Marcus, P.A., welcomes new Counsel John P. Maloney.

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — The Bridgewater-based law firm Norris McLaughlin & Marcus, P.A., welcomes new Counsel John P. Maloney to its Business Law and Mergers and Acquisitions Groups.
Maloney comes to Norris McLaughlin & Marcus from Chiesa Shahinian & Giantomasi (formerly Wolff & Samson) located in West Orange where he was Counsel in their Corporate department for eight years.
Maloney has extensive experience in all areas of general corporate and commercial law. He represents clients in a broad range of corporate transactional and governance matters, including mergers and acquisitions, asset and stock purchases and sales, joint ventures, reorganizations, secured loans, equity investments, intellectual property licensing, employment matters, and new entity formation.

He also prepares and negotiates related agreements, including stock and asset purchase agreements, merger agreements, operating agreements, partnership agreements, shareholder agreements, license agreements, supply and distribution agreements, joint venture agreements, loan agreements, service agreements, and employment agreements.
Maloney’s clients include a wide range of businesses in various manufacturing and service sectors, including the apparel, pharmaceutical, Internet technology, transportation, packaged foods and real estate development industries.

Maloney earned his B.S. in accounting from Fairfield University in 1985 and his J.D. from Seton Hall University School of Law in 1990.
