Bridgewater Mall Footage Being Reviewed, Shots Fired Unconfirmed
"At this time, we cannot confirm that shots were fired," the Somerset County Prosecutor's Office said.

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — Whether or not the report of gun shots fired at the Bridgewater Commons Mall on Thursday night is still unconfirmed.
"Detectives from the Somerset County Prosecutor's Office are in the process of reviewing surveillance footage from the mall. At this time, we cannot confirm that shots were fired," said Detective Jeanne Trillhaase, spokeswoman for the SCPO.
No arrests were made and no injuries were reported following the incident.

A report of a fight in progress was reported at 6:27 p.m. on Thursday in the Bridgewater Commons Mall food court. Bridgewater Mall security were able to separate the people involved, which continued onto the outside parking lot area of the mall, according to Somerset County Prosecutor Michael H. Robertson.
As Bridgewater officers were responding, a call of shots fired was reported to police.

"The report of shots fired is under investigation and has not been confirmed at this time," Robertson said on Thursday night.
