Bridgewater Man Among 3 Charged With DWI

Bridgewater Police also reported making a shoplifting arrest and two burglaries in town.

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — A Bridgewater man was among three people to be charged with driving while intoxicated in the township, according to the police blotter.

On Oct. 21 at 4:59 a.m., Andre M. Heredia, 26, of Bridgewater was arrested for DWI after committing motor vehicle violations on Van Holten Road, police said.

Heredia was issued summonses for: DWI, reckless driving, obstructing safe passage, idling, failure to wear seatbelt and DWI in a school zone.

He was released with a pending court appearance.

On Oct. 19 at 2:03 a.m.: Jatciri J. Guzman-Rios, 22, of Chester was arrested for DWI after committing motor vehicle violations on Route 202/206 south. Guzman-Rios was issued summonses for: DWI, careless driving, reckless driving and failure to maintain lane. He was released with a pending court appearance

On Oct. 19 at 3:12 p.m.: Juan Rivera-Escobar, 34, of Middlesex was arrested for shoplifting and criminal mischief at Target located at the Bridgewater Promenade. Rivera-Escobar shoplifted electronics, sunglasses and food valued at $288.77. He was processed for the arrest and released with a pending court appearance.

On Oct. 14 at 12:31 a.m.: Omar A. Hardy, 20, of Plainfield was arrested for DWI after committing motor vehicle violations on East Main Street. Hardy was issued summonses for: DWI, failure to maintain lane, failure to signal turn, failure to keep right, reckless driving, and open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle. He was released with a pending court appearance.

On Oct. 7: A business on Route 28 reported a burglary to their office.

On Oct. 4: A resident of Tullo Farm Road reported a burglary to his residence.
