Bridgewater Man Stole Firefighter's Jacket From Firehouse: Cops
A video shows two Bridgewater men were among four trespassing at a firehouse while firefighters were at an emergency call, police said.
RAHWAY, NJ — Two Bridgewater men and a Bound Brook man were among four charged in connection with the theft of a firefighter's coat from a Rahway Firehouse on Friday.
On Friday, Anthony Gallo, 21 of Bridgewater, Jonathan Kaye, 21 of Bridgewater, Alexander Navarro-Gamboa, 21 of Bound Brook, and Nicholas Attanasio, 21 of Seaside Heights were all caught on surveillance camera going inside the Rahway Fire Department's main headquarters, Rahway Police said.
"The men arrogantly entered fire headquarters through an open door while the firemen were out on an emergency call," Rahway Police said.

The four men reportedly lingered in the bay area, and even pointed to the surveillance cameras. They then rummaged through the offices and building, and left before emergency personnel returned from the call, according to police.
Gallo also reportedly stole a firefighter's jacket that had keys and a wallet containing cash and credit cards, police said.

Two of the men returned to the fire department to try and return the items and were then arrested. The other two men eventually turned themselves in at the Rahway Police Department late Friday night.
Gallo was charged with third-degree theft and fourth-degree trespassing while Kaye, Navarro- Gamboa, and Attanasio were all charged with fourth-degree trespassing and released with a court date.
