Bridgewater Man's Ear Bitten During I-287 Road Rage Assault: Police
A Boonton man and a Bridgewater man were both charged with simple assault following the road rage incident on Monday afternoon, said police.
BRIDGEWATER, NJ — A Bridgewater man's ear was bitten during a road rage assault on Interstate 287 in Morris County on Monday, said New Jersey State Police Trooper Troy McNair.
On March 11 at around 3:29 p.m., troopers were called to a simple assault on I-287 South at milepost 41.8 in Parsippany – Troy Hills Township.
Based on a preliminary investigation, Gilbert Madriz, a 55-year-old man, from Bridgewater and Toheed Khan, a 24-year-old man, from Boonton were involved in a physical altercation stemming from a road rage incident, said McNair.

Khan allegedly bit Madriz's ear, and first responders took Madriz to an area hospital for treatment.
Both Khan and Madriz were arrested, charged with simple assault, and released pending a future court date.
