Bridgewater Musicians Join Westfield for Tree Lighting
The band performing was led by Bridgewater resident Barry Rosenberg.
The Westfield Area Chamber of Commerce held its annual town Christmas tree lighting ceremony Nov. 30 at the North Avenue train station, and welcomed Bridgewater-Raritan students to the party.
Santa was welcomed by warm weather when he arrived in Westfield on a fire truck to join Mayor Andy Skibitsky in the lighting of the Christmas tree. weet treats such as hot chocolate, cookies and candy canes were provided in abundance.
Music of Christmas Carols filled the air thanks to the Westfield Community Band, led by Bridgewater resident Barry Rosenberg. Rosenberg invited his son Dan, and several other musicians to play along.
