Bridgewater-Raritan School Board Election Results Certified: See Final Tallies
Candidates running for a seat on the Board of Education included Barry Walker, Rebecca Hassouna, Jarrett Hahn and Hector Menendez.

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — It's a wrap: Full-day kindergarten has passed and three candidates have emerged victorious for two seats representing Bridgewater and one seat representing Raritan in the 2023 race for Board of Education.
The Somerset County Clerk's Office confirmed Wednesday that the election results from Nov. 7 have been certified.
In Bridgewater, there were four candidates running for two open seats on the board (the term lasts for three years). Incumbent Barry Walker and Rebecca Hassouna emerged victorious over Jarrett Hahn and Hector Menendez.

In Raritan, there were three candidates running for one open seat on the board (the term lasts for three years). Michael Pepe was victorious over Umesh Agrawal and Jeffrey McNally.

Bridgewater Candidates:
- Walker - 5,413 votes (27.22%)
- Hassouna - 5,012 votes (25.20%)
- Hahn - 4,834 votes (24.31%)
- Menendez - 4,521 votes (22.73%)
Raritan Candidates:
- Pepe - 611 votes (43.64%)
- Agrawal - 476 votes (34%)
- McNally - 301 votes (21.50%)
The referendum question for full-day kindergarten also passed.
- Yes - 7,452 votes (53.72%)
- No - 6,420 votes (46.28%)
