Bridgewater Resident Michael Downer Named Branch Vice President Of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage In Short Hills

T HILLS, N.J. - (August 28, 2015) – Hal Maxwell, president of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in New Jersey and Rockland County, N.Y., is pleased to announce that Michael Downer has been named branch vice president of the company’s Short Hills office. Downer will be responsible for the day-to-day operations and oversight of approximately 35 affiliated sales associates and teams serving communities in Essex, Morris and Union counties.

“Mike was previously a sale associate with the Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage office in Bedminster, where he proved himself a successful agent and strong leader,” said Maxwell. “He has a wealth of experience and knowledge that will enable him to assist agents in increasing their business while providing superior customer service. Downer, a Bridgewater resident, joins the management team of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage with eight years of distinguished sales experience. He has earned many professional designations including Accredited Buyer’s Representative, Broker Price Opinion Resource, e-PRO online marketing specialist, Seniors Real Estate Specialist and Short Sales and Foreclosure Resource. He is a member of the National Association of Realtors.

Prior to real estate, Downer spent 20 years in sales training, marketing and business development, also honing his excellent negotiation skills. He holds a both a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in Communications, from San Diego State University and the University of Notre Dame, respectively.
