Bridgewater Teen Fatally Hit By Train
The crash happened around 4:20 p.m. on Monday when a Raritan Valley Line train hit and killed the teen just west of the Bridgewater station.
BRIDGEWATER, NJ — A Bridgewater teen was fatally hit by a train in the township on Memorial Day.
The crash happened around 4:20 p.m. when Raritan Valley Line train 5526 going towards Newark hit and killed the young man just west of the Bridgewater station, NJ Transit spokesman Jim Smith said.
The victim has been identified as a juvenile from Bridgewater, Smith said.

There were no reported injuries to the six people on board at the time. Raritan Valley Line service was suspended between Raritan and Bound Brook but has since resumed. New Jersey Transit Police are leading the investigation.
