BRIDGEWATER, NJ — When times are tough, heroes emerge. We all know someone who's making a difference right now as we live through unprecedented and changing times.

Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize these heroes making a difference in their communities. Together with Ring, we’re working to let all your neighbors know about these outstanding people and their stories.

This submission comes from Michelle Smith who is nominating Jim Adams of Bridgewater.

Hero's job: Keeps the neighbor/town smiling

Reason for recognition: Jim and his wife historically put on 13 skeletons for free in October. It is more than just putting up a display — it's a story. During the pandemic, they decided to do a story with the skeletons so that people going past on Route 202/206 will see it.

One thing to know: That the Adams' give to the community and when we see the skeletons it gives us something to look forward to as the storyline progresses and the skeletons change.

Thank you for all you do, Jim!
