Bubble Tea House To Open Second Location In Bridgewater

This will be Gong Cha's second Somerset County location.

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — Gong Cha Tea, a bubble tea house, is opening its second Bridgewater and Somerset County location on Saturday.

Gong Cha Tea's new location will be at 1329 Prince Rodgers Ave. in Bridgewater.

During the grand opening weekend, April 1 and 2, customers can get a buy 1 get 1 free on their top 10 drinks. Additionally, they will be offering 10 percent off all items from Wednesday, March 29 through Friday, March 31 leading up to the official grand opening.

The offers are valid at the Prince Rodgers location only and slush and hot beverages are excluded.

The Taiwan-based tea store previously opened its first Somerset County location inside the Bridgewater Commons mall on the Upper Level in between Victor's Secret and Oakley at 400 Commons Way in Bridgewater.

Gong Chai Tea was founded in 2006 in Kaohsiung, Taiwan and the name translates to "tribute tea for the emperor." It now has 1,800 locations.

According to its website, Gong cha offers:

  • Fresh Tea brewed throughout the day
  • Pearls (bubbles) freshly prepared to perfection continuously throughout the day
  • Tea sourced from the finest tea estates in Taiwan
  • Strict quality controls for all ingredients
