Car Burglaries, Pizza Theft, DWI Arrest Reported In Raritan: Blotter
Raritan Police also reported four people were arrested for domestic violence simple assault over this past weekend.
RARITAN, NJ — Car burglaries, domestic violence, DWI arrest, and a theft of a pizza were all reported over the weekend in Raritan, according to the police blotter.
Raritan Police Blotter:
On Sept. 16 at 12:30 p.m.: Patrol officers went to the Crossings at Raritan apartment complex for a theft report. A 34-year-old resident reported a package that had been delivered to her was stolen from a common mail area. The package was valued at $376.

On Sept. 16 at 8:34 p.m.: Patrol officers went to the intersection of Route 206 and Bell Avenue for a person stopped in traffic and unresponsive. On scene, officers were able to awaken Erica Rodriguez, 46, of Manalapan. Rodriguez was arrested for driving while intoxicated, processed at headquarters, and released pending a court appearance.
On Sept. 18 at 1:48 a.m.: Officers went to a residence on Vanderveer Road for an assault. As a result of the investigation conducted by officers, a 21-year-old man and a 43-year-old woman were charged with domestic violence simple assault. Both were taken to the Somerset County Jail.

On Sept. 18 at 2:11 a.m.: Officers went to a residence on Bluebird Way for a domestic violence call. As a result of an investigation, a 31-year-old man was arrested for domestic violence simple assault. The man was taken to the Somerset County Jail.
On Sept. 18 at 7:57 a.m.: Officers were called to the Raritan Borough Public Works Garage on Busky Lane for a burglary report. An employee reported that numerous vehicles had been rummaged through overnight, but no items were taken.
On Sept. 18 at 1:23 p.m.: An Anderson Street resident reported his E-Bike had been stolen from his porch. The bike was valued at $625.
On Sept. 18 at 9:41 p.m.: An employee at Dominos on Route 206 reported a man entered the store and stole a pepperoni and mushroom pizza valued at $17.88. Officers are waiting to review surveillance footage of the incident.
On Sept. 18 at 10:56 p.m.: Officers went to a residence on East Somerset Street for a domestic violence incident. As a result of the investigation, a 31-year-old man was arrested for domestic violence simple assault. The man was lodged in the Somerset County Jail.
