Car Crashes Into, Knocks Over Traffic Light In Bridgewater
The cause of the crash was listed as driver inattention, said Bridgewater Police.
BRIDGEWATER, NJ — A driver, who police say was not paying attention, crashed into and knocked over a traffic light in Bridgewater on Friday morning.
Just before 11 a.m., a 2008 Silver Honda Civic was making a left turn from Chimney Rock Road when it hit a traffic signal post (on the island) on Washington Valley Road just west of the intersection," said Bridgewater Police Sgt. Frederick Brittain.
The impact of the crash caused the traffic light to be knocked over, said Brittain.

"The cause of the crash was listed as driver inattention and the driver was issued a summons for careless driving," said Brittain.
