Car Crashes Into School Bus In Bridgewater
One driver was injured as a result of the crash on Monday morning.
BRIDGEWATER, NJ — One person was injured after a car crashed into the back of a Bridgewater-Raritan School District school bus on Monday morning.
On Oct. 23, a school bus owned by Bridgewater-Raritan School District was driving east on Route 28. As it began to slow down in the area of Pearl Street, it was hit from behind by a 2017 Acura, said Bridgewater Police Lt. Kevin Lamey.
The driver of the Acura had minor injuries. The driver of the bus and its one passenger were uninjured.

Finderne volunteer firefighters went out to the crash and helped to mitigate a fluid spill before clearing the area.
The Finderne Fire Department, which covers the southeast section of Bridgewater Township, is always looking for volunteers.

Volunteers are offered complete protective gear, free training, LOSAP (Length of Service Award Programs), a pay-per-call incentive, a life insurance/disability plan, and an in-house gym.
