Car Stolen While Resident Was Unloading Items In Bridgewater
The theft happened in the middle of the day on Thursday, according to Bridgewater Police.
BRIDGEWATER, NJ — Bridgewater Police are investigating after a car was stolen in the middle of the day on Thursday in the Martinsville section of town.
On Dec. 22 at around 2:15 p.m., a Sherlin Drive resident reported their vehicle stolen from the driveway of their home, said Bridgewater Police Lt. Kevin Lamey.
The resident had been unloading items from their vehicle when someone entered the vehicle and fled the scene, said Lamey.

The vehicle was unoccupied and the key to the vehicle was still in it at the time of the theft, said Lamey.
This incident is currently under investigation and anyone with information is asked to contact the Bridgewater Police Department at 908-722-4111.
