The Children's Place Is Closing In Bridgewater, Holds Major Sale

Everything must go inside The Children's Place at the Bridgewater Towne Center off Route 202 South. Everything is currently 50 percent off.

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — The Children's Place at the Bridgewater Towne Center is closing and hosting an inventory sale to get rid of everything inside.

Signs are posted on the exterior windows and inside the store off Route 202 South announcing the last day will be Jan. 27. A closeout sale to get rid of inventory has everything in the entire store at 50 percent off. Place cash is also being offered on the original tag price. All sales are final.

Shoppers can continue to shop with the store online and at nearby locations at the Blue Star Shopping Center in Watchung and Hadley Shopping Center in South Plainfield.

It is unclear why the Bridgewater location is closing. A store employee said they were not told why the location was closing and an email sent by Patch to the store's public relations department was not immediately answered.

The Children's Place marks the third business to close in the Bridgewater Towne Center. Recently Ruby Tuesday and Gamestop also closed.
