The Constituent Office, inside the Bridgewater Municipal Building, was chosen as it is located in the "heart" of District 7.

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — Newly elected Congressman Tom Kean Jr. has opened a temporary constituent office in Bridgewater.
"Bridgewater is just dead center of the district," said Spokesman for Kean Jr., Dan Scharfenberger.
Scharfenberger added that the location is in the "heart" of District 7 and close to highways such as Interstate 78, 287 and Routes 202, 206, and 22.

Currently, Kean Jr.'s office is renting a small conference room and an office with a total square footage of 130 to 140 inside the Bridgewater Municipal Building.
The space is located on the second floor of the building and is being rented for $500 a month from the township, said Bridgewater Deputy Township Administrator Wells Winegar.
The cost covers utilities and garbage.
"It more than covers our cost for the amount of space he is renting," said Winegar.
The space is being temporarily rented until Kean Jr. finds a more permanent solution - which should be announced in the near future, according to Scharfenberger.
Overall, Winegar said the township is "honored" to have Kean Jr.'s office space. The office is open during normal operating hours at 100 Commons Way.
"This is a value for our residents. It's like a one-stop shop. Residents can come in, take care of municipal business and also district 7 business," said Winegar. "It's definitely an asset for our residents."
