Congressman Malinowski To Host Veterans Town Hall, Resource Fair

It will serve as an opportunity for veterans to tell their stories and for the local community to honor and celebrate their service.

SOMERVILLE, NJ — Congressman Tom Malinowski (District-7) will host a Veterans Town Hall and Resource Fair on Sunday in Somerville to establish a greater understanding between veterans and the communities they served.

The Veterans Town Hall will be held at the American Legion Post 12, at 232 Union Ave. in Somerville from noon to 2 p.m. It will serve as an opportunity for veterans to tell their stories and for the local community to honor and celebrate their service.

Held during the Commemoration of the 50th Anniversary of the Vietnam War, the event will also include a pinning ceremony for veterans of the Vietnam War.

Federal and state representatives from the Veterans Affairs as well as non-profits that provide services to veterans will be attending the event and will be available to offer help or information to attendees.
