Deck Fire Spreads To Home In Somerset County

SOUTH BOUND BROOK, NJ — Firefighters with the help of a neighbor battled a deck fire that spread to a home in South Bound Brook on Sunday night.

At 7:16 p.m., the South Bound Brook Fire Department was called to Charlotte Avenue for the report of a deck fire extending to the house.

A neighbor helped to put out the fire using a garden hose until firefighters arrive, said the fire department.

The fire is currently under investigation by the South Bound Brook Fire Officials office.
