Details Released On Overturned Car Crash On Route 202/206 In Bridgewater
The crash caused Route 202/206 to close last week as a result.
BRIDGEWATER, NJ — The closure of Route 202/206 last week was due to an overturned car and downed pole.
On Aug. 31, Bruce Bongiorno of Bridgewater was driving on Route 202/206 in the area of Mountain View Avenue when his 2019 Mercedes E-Class went off the road, hit two mailboxes and a utility pole before overturning, said Bridgewater Police Lt. Kevin Lamey.
The single-vehicle crash on the northbound side caused the highway to close while the utility pole was replaced. It has since reopened.
