Driver Asleep Behind Wheel Among 7 DWI Arrests In Bridgewater: Police
The latest Bridgewater Police blotter also includes catalytic converter thefts, shoplifting arrests, car burglaries, and more.
BRIDGEWATER, NJ — DWI arrests, catalytic converter thefts, and shoplifting were reported in the latest Bridgewater Police blotter.
On June 17: A resident from Hughes Road reported the catalytic converter had been stolen from their 2004 Honda Pilot. The vehicle had been parked in the driveway directly in front of the residence.
On June 18 at around 12:26 a.m.: A 63-year-old man from Manville was arrested for DWI after a motor vehicle stop on Route 22 West. He was issued the following summonses: DWI, careless driving, and failure to maintain lane. He was released with a pending court appearance.

On June 19: A resident from Adamsville Road reported the catalytic converter had been stolen from their 2017 Nissan NV2. The vehicle had been parked in the roadway directly in front of the residence.
On June 19: A business on Adamsville Road reported the catalytic converter had been stolen from a 2012 Volkswagon Jetta which had been parked in their parking lot.

On June 22: A resident from Francis Drive reported their vehicle had been burglarized in the overnight hours. The victim reported that someone entered their vehicle and stole a wallet from the vehicle’s center console. There were no signs of forced entry to the vehicle.
On June 23 at around 12:06 p.m.: A 67-year-old man from Somerville was stopped for shoplifting at Target, located 200 Promenade Boulevard. He stole store merchandise valued at $142.23. A complaint summons was completed and he was released with a pending court appearance.
On June 24 at around 5:24 p.m.: A victim reported their vehicle had been burglarized while parked
at Duke Island Park. The victim reported their windows had been left down and their wallet was
removed from the cup holder.
On June 26 at around 10:57 p.m.: A 34-year-old man from Manville was arrested for DWI after a motor vehicle stop on Finderne Avenue. He was issued the following summonses: DWI, reckless
driving, careless driving, and failure to maintain lane. He was released with a pending court
appearance.
On June 26 at around 3:46 p.m.: Said Bahammou, 65, and Mary Faisal, 57, from Union City, were stopped for shoplifting at Target, located 200 Promenade Boulevard. Bahammou and Faisal stole store merchandise valued at $1,349.48. Complaint summons were completed and they were
released with pending court appearances.
On June 30 at around 4:13 p.m.: Marilyn Guerrero, 50, from Somerville, was stopped for shoplifting at Wegmans, located at 724 Route 202. Guerrero stole store merchandise valued at $899.93. A complaint summons was completed and she was released with a pending court appearance.
On July 1 at around 10:57 p.m.: A 23-year-old man from Somerville, was arrested for DWI after a motor vehicle stop on Route 22 West. He was issued the following summonses: DWI, careless driving, and failure to maintain lane. He was released with a pending court appearance.
On July 3: A resident from Steele Gap Road reported their 2023 Black Land Rover was stolen from the driveway of their residence. The key fob for the vehicle had been left inside at the time of the theft.
On July 4 at around 12:45 a.m.: A 46-year-old man from Middlesex, was arrested for DWI after a motor vehicle stop on Route 22 East. He was issued the following summonses: DWI, reckless
driving, and failure to maintain lane. He was released with a pending court appearance.
On July 5 at around 11:47 p.m.: A 19-year-old from Boston, MA and a 23-year-old from Bedminster were arrested for theft of services and hindering apprehension. The two ordered $177.46 in food at Buffalo Wild Wings, located at 970 Route 22. Once they received the food they took it and exited the store without paying. They were both released with pending court appearances.
On July 6 at around 1 p.m.: A victim parked their 2012 Honda Accord in the lot for the Washington Valley Park on Newmans Lane. When the victim returned to the vehicle they found that a
wallet and credit card had been stolen from the interior of the vehicle. The victim was unaware if they had locked the vehicle prior to leaving it.
On July 10 at around 5:49 p.m.: Mary Nikhitha Gode, 23, from Boston, MA was stopped for shoplifting at Target, located at 200 Promenade Boulevard. Gode stole store merchandise valued at $853.48. A complaint summons was completed and she was released with a pending court appearance.
On July 14 at around 7:09 p.m.: Anthony Harold, 73, of Raritan, was arrested for DWI after a motor vehicle crash in the parking lot of Tommy’s Tavern, located on Somerset Corporate Boulevard. He was issued the following summonses: DWI, refusal to submit to samples of his breath and open container in a vehicle. He was released with a pending court appearance.
On July 15 at around 11:23 p.m.: Jamall Daniels, 41, of Weehawken, was arrested for DWI after being found asleep in the driver’s seat, while in the parking lot of the Bridgewater Commons
Mall. He was issued the following summonses: DWI, refusal to submit to samples of his breath and
open container in a vehicle. He was released with a pending court appearance.
On July 17 at around 3:04 a.m.: Danielle Payeur-Narine, 27, of Washington, was arrested for DWI after being located in a parking lot on Promenade Boulevard with evidence her vehicle had been
involved in a crash. She was issued a summons for DWI and released with a pending court appearance.
