Ducklings Rescued From Storm Drain By Bridgewater Firefighters
The Green Knoll Fire Department along with the help of the Somerset Regional Animal Shelter and Bridgewater Police rescued the 9 ducklings.
BRIDGEWATER, NJ — Nine little duckings were rescued from a storm drain by Bridgewater firefighters on Saturday.
On July 23 at 8 a.m., Bridgewater Police were called to a storm drain in front of Shake Shack in the Village at Bridgewater Commons, said Lt. Kevin Lamey.
"It was reported that several ducklings had fallen into a storm drain and the mother duck was on the roadway looking down on them," said Lamey.

The Green Knoll Fire Department and the Somerset County Animal Control came out and opened several storm drains, said Lamey.
Nine ducklings were safely removed.
