DWI Crash, Public Urination, Domestic Violence Reported In Raritan
Raritan Police released its latest blotter.
RARITAN, NJ — Raritan Police reported a number of arrests including for driving while intoxicated, public urination, domestic violence, and an outstanding warrant.
Raritan Police Blotter:
On Nov. 19th, 2022 at 11:45 p.m.: A 42-year-old from Hillsborough, was arrested for driving while intoxicated following a traffic stop on First Avenue. He was also charged with failure to maintain lane, careless driving, reckless driving and possession of an open container. Additionally, A 23-year-old from Hillsborough was charged with urinating in public as he exited the vehicle during the traffic stop and urinated on the sidewalk.

On Nov. 20 at 4:54 p.m.: Raritan officers were dispatched to Route 202 North near Ortho Drive for a motor vehicle accident. As a result of a brief investigation, Anna Mastrian, 35, of Neshanic Station, was arrested for driving while intoxicated. Officers learned that Mastrian had been swerving all over the road while operating her 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Mastrian eventually rear-ended a 2020 Chevrolet Silverado being driven by a 27-year-old man from New Vernon.
On Nov. 22 at 11:41 a.m.: Ebon Hodge, 33, of Irvington, was arrested following a traffic stop on First Street. Hodge had a warrant for his arrest issued by the Raritan Borough Municipal Court for driving while intoxicated and a warrant for his arrest issued by the Roselle Park Municipal Court for driving while suspended. Hodge was released pending a new court appearance.

On Nov. 24 at 12:21 a.m.: A 34-year-old Raritan man was arrested for domestic violence simple assault. The man was taken to the Somerset County Jail pending a detention hearing.
