DWI Crash, Shoplifting, Theft Reported In Bridgewater
Bridgewater Police released the blotter for the month of February.
BRIDGEWATER, NJ — A DWI crash, shoplifting and theft were among the items reported in the February Bridgewater Police blotter.
On Jan. 26 at around 10:48 p.m.: Officers responded to CareOne located at 1621 Route 22 West, for a report of a single-vehicle crash into a ditch. Officers found an unoccupied 2006 Nissan Murano and subsequently located the operator, Juis A. Larios, 35, of North Bergen, a short distance away. Larios was arrested for hindering and DWI and issued the following summonses: careless driving, driving while intoxicated, reckless driving, refusal to submit to chemical breath testing, refusal to consent to taking samples of breath, leaving the scene of an accident, and hindering. Larios was released with a pending court appearance.
On Jan. 29 at around 5:07 p.m.: Karina C. Rosario, 33, of Bound Brook, was stopped for shoplifting at Target, located at 200 Promenade Boulevard. Rosario stole store merchandise valued at $259.69. A complaint summons was completed and she was released with a pending court appearance.

On Feb. 3 at around 10:39 a.m.: A victim reported that his personal belongings were stolen from his locker at Lifetime Fitness located at 145 Commons Way. The victim reported his wallet containing credit cards and cash along with various other items totaling $270 were taken from his unsecured locker while left unattended.
On Feb. 5: A resident from Lindsley Road reported the catalytic converter had been stolen from their 2007 Volkswagen Beetle, sometime during the overnight hours on Jan. 3. The vehicle was parked in the residential parking lot of Lindsley Road.

On Feb. 10 at around 7:48 p.m.: Jacqueline Barahona, 37, of Somerville, was arrested for shoplifting at Target, located at 200 Promenade Boulevard. Barahona stole store merchandise valued at $245.96. A complaint summons was issued and she was released with a pending court appearance.
