DWI Driver Crashes Into Hydrant, Concrete Post In Bridgewater: Police
The 21-year-old driver from Warren was hospitalized with injuries from the crash on Vosseller Avenue on Sunday morning.
BRIDGEWATER, NJ — A Warren driver was charged with driving while intoxicated following a crash on Vosseller Avenue on Sunday in Bridgewater.
On March 24 at around 6:50 a.m., Bridgewater Police Officers were called to the area of Vosseller Avenue and Van Pelt Court for a report of a single car, motor-vehicle crash involving a 2020 Acura TLX.
The driver, Endy Grandados-Bustos, 21, of Warren, was taken to Robert Wood Johnson (New Brunswick) for injuries from the crash, said Bridgewater Lt. Frederick J. Brittain III.

The investigation revealed that Bustos was driving north on Vosseller Avenue when it ran off the roadway to the right and hit a fire hydrant, overturned, hit a concrete mailbox post before coming to a rest in the southbound lane of Vosseller Avenue.
Bustos was arrested for driving while intoxicated and issued a summons for DWI, improper passing, reckless driving, careless driving, and unsafe lane change. Bustos was released, from police custody, at the hospital with a pending court appearance.

The crash caused Vosseller Avenue to be closed for about an hour.
