DWI, Drug Possession, Shoplifting Arrests Reported In Bridgewater

A Bridgewater local was among 4 people arrested on charges including drug possession.

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — Bridgewater Police reported making four arrests on charges of driving while intoxicated, drug possession, and shoplifting.

On Aug. 28 at 1:06 a.m.: (Name Removed)

On Aug. 26 at 1:57 p.m.: Darnell L. Thigpen, 23, of Bridgewater was stopped in Nap Torpey Park. During the stop, officers detected the odor or raw marijuana from inside the vehicle. Officers performed a probable cause search and discovered marijuana inside the vehicle. Thigpen was arrested for possession of controlled dangerous substance(CDS) under 50 grams, drug paraphernalia and failure to turn CDS over to a law enforcement officer. He was also issued a motor vehicle summons for having CDS in a motor vehicle. Thigpen was released and has a pending court date in municipal court.

On Aug. 25 at 6:51 p.m.: Michael J. Mosher, 21, of Branchburg was arrested for shoplifting merchandise from Macy’s at the Bridgewater Commons Mall. Mosher shoplifted clothing valued at $279.48. He was processed for the arrest and released with a pending court appearance.

On Aug. 15 at 3:05 p.m.: William J. Flower, 39, of Somerset was arrested for shoplifting merchandise from GameStop at the Bridgewater Commons Mall. Flower shoplifted store merchandise worth $75. He was processed for the arrest and released with a pending court appearance.
