DWI, Shoplifting Arrests Reported In Bridgewater

A car and bike were also stolen, according to the Bridgewater Police blotter.

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — Bridgewater Police reported making multiple shoplifting and DWI arrests recently.

Bridgewater Police Blotter:

On March 31 at about 7:41 p.m.: Rafiyya Welton, 33, and Elisse Motley, 22, both from Newark were arrested for shoplifting at the Bridgewater Commons Mall, at 400 Commons Way. Welton stole store merchandise valued at $149.99 and Motley stole store merchandise valued at $323.99 from Snipes. Complaint summonses were completed for both and they were released with pending court appearances.

On April 8 at about 1:20 p.m.: Someone stole a motor vehicle from a parking lot on Route 202/206. The victim was unsure if the vehicle had been locked but advised he was still in possession of the ignition keys.

On April 9 at 9:19 p.m.: Michelle Nobrega, 33, of Bridgewater, was arrested for DWI after being involved in a motor vehicle crash on Route 28 at the intersection of Finderne Avenue. Nobrega was issued the following summonses: DWI and reckless driving. She was released with a pending court appearance.

On April 12 at about 8:15 p.m.: Valerie Demoleas, 27, of Westwood, was arrested for shoplifting at Target, at 200 Promenade Blvd. Demoleas stole store merchandise valued at $906.80. A complaint summons was completed and Demoleas was released with a pending court appearance.

On April 14: A resident of Hayward Street reported their vehicle had been burglarized. The victim advised that their vehicle had been parked in their driveway and was unlocked. The actor entered the vehicle and removed a cellular phone charger.

On April 16 at about 1:38 p.m.: Cristian Ramirez Quiroga, 25, of Newark, was arrested for shoplifting at Macy's, at 400 Commons Way. Ramirez Quiroga stole store merchandise valued at $299.86. A complaint summons was completed and Ramirez Quiroga was released with a pending court appearance.

On April 20 at about 3:49 p.m.: Tiffany Martin Bradley, 34, of Newark, was arrested for shoplifting at Nordstrom Rack, at 362 Chimney Rock Road. Martin Bradley stole store merchandise valued at $299.98. A complaint summons was completed and Martin Bradley was released with a pending court appearance.

On May 20 at about 4:26 p.m.: A resident of Sunny Slope Road reported the theft of a bicycle. The bicycle had been located on the porch at the front of the victim’s residence.
