Emerald Cashew Product Recalled Over Concerns It May Contain Glass
The product is being recalled at all stores including Stop and Shop which has stores in Somerset and Union counties.

Snyder's-Lance is recalling one of their products over concerns it may contain glass.
They are recalling Emerald 100 Calorie Cashew Halves & Pieces, 4.34. ounces.
The UPC code is 1030033324, and all date codes are being pulled.

The manufacturer, Snyder’s-Lance, announced the voluntary recall due to the possible presence of small glass pieces.
"Although our investigation is ongoing, we believe the source of the glass to be the raw cashews received from one of our suppliers under a specific lot code," Snyder's-Lance stated in a release. "We are taking this action out of an abundance of caution after receiving a consumer complaint."

No injuries have been reported to date, the company said, and said the action was taken after receiving a customer complaint.
All date codes are being recalled, but actual “Best Before Date” for the products of concern are 12 DEC 16, 12 DEC 16, 18 DEC 16 and 21 DEC 16.
Stop and Shop is also recalling the products at their stores and said customers may return the impacted product for a full refund.
Snyder's-Lance said consumers who may have purchased the product listed above should not consume it but should contact Consumer Affairs for a full refund online at http://www.emeraldnuts.com/contact-emerald/ or by calling 503-364-0399 between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Pacific Time, Monday to Friday.
