Espo's Restaurant To Reopen After Fire Causes 2 Month Closure

The fire broke out on July 26 and had come from the commercial grill at the Raritan restaurant.

RARITAN, NJ — Espo's Restaurant & Bar is rising from the flames and reopening next week after a fire caused a two-month-long closure.

The Italian restaurant, at 10 Second Street in Raritan, announced Friday they will be opening on Tuesday, Sept. 27.

The fire broke out on July 26 at 3:23 p.m. and was coming from the commercial grill inside and extended into the wall behind the grill, Raritan Fire Chief Brian Kredatus previously said. Read More: Espo's Restaurant Catches Fire In Raritan, Closes Tuesday

It took about 20 to 25 minutes to extinguish the fire. There were no reported injuries.
