Fawn Rescued From Coyote Attack By Good Samaritan In Somerset County
The Somerset Regional Animal Shelter and Mercer County Wildlife helped to provide medical treatment for the fawn.

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — A Good Samaritan is being praised for stepping in and saving a baby fawn who was being attacked by a coyote, said Somerset Regional Animal Shelter.
On Monday night, the Good Samaritan found the fawn in Bridgewater and brought the fawn to the shelter to be evaluated.
The shelter determined the best course of action was to get the fawn to a certified wildlife rehab facility. Luckily, Mercer County Wildlife in Lambertville was able to take the fawn to give it medical treatment, according to the shelter.
