Everyone inside the house was evacuated and one firefighter received a minor injury while fighting the fire, Bridgewater Police Lt. John Mitzak said.
Police were stationed all night outside of the home into Tuesday morning when the fire official was able to inspect the home. The fire started on the top floor and is believed to have been sparked by an electrical issue, Mitzak said.

However, the cause is not official and is still under investigation.
The basement is currently filled with water and the house was deemed uninhabitable. Follo was unable to go back into the home.
Fire departments from Bradley Gardens, North Branch, Raritan and Flagtown were among the few to respond, along with the Bridgewater Police Department.
The fundraiser has already raised about $1,600 of the $10,000 since Monday night. Clothing donations will also be accepted. To donate to the GoFundMe for the Follo family click here.
