Six Bridgewater Companies Ranked One of the 'Best Places to Work' in NJ

Bridgewater, NJ -- Six Bridgewater businesses made NJ Biz’s 2016 list of “Best Places to Work in New Jersey,” released Friday.

The businesses were selected in the category of small- to medium-sized businesses.

This Bridgewater businesses included:

• Applegate - Wholesale/retail
• BluMarc Inc. - Advertising/public relations/marketing
• Condor Capital Management - Financial services
• daVIZta Inc. - Life sciences
  
• MassMutual New Jersey-NYC - Insurance (non-health care)
• R&J Strategic Communications - Advertising/public relations/marketing

What makes an employer one of the Best Places to Work in New Jersey? “One (thing) that all of these honorees have in common is a dedication to their employees’ professional growth and quality of life,” writes NJ Biz.

Employees at companies filled out surveys on their workplace well-being, NJ Biz said, along with an employer benefits and policies questionnaire. Each survey consisted of 78 statements that employees respond to on a five-point agreement scale. The survey also includes two open-ended questions and seven demographic questions.

Participating companies paid an assessment fee ranging from $690 to $1,770.
