Flood Advisory Issued For Somerset County

Breaking: Excessive runoff from heavy rain will cause minor flooding on poor drainage streets, highways and underpasses in Somerset County.

SOMERSET COUNTY, NJ — The National Weather Service has issued a flood advisory for Tuesday that may cause minor flooding in poor drainage areas in Somerset County.

The advisory is in effect until 10:15 a.m. due to excessive runoff from heavy rainfall that will cause minor flooding on poor drainage streets, highways and underpasses as well as other drainage areas and low lying spots.

Some locations in Somerset County that could experience flooding include Somerville, Somerset, Bridgewater, Bound Brook and Manville.
