Heating Issue Closes Bridgewater-Raritan High School Tuesday

The closure only affects the high school. All other schools in the district will remain open and operate on their normal schedules.

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — Bridgewater-Raritan High School is closed on Tuesday due to an issue with the heating system and the construction necessary to repair it, the school district announced.

"We continue to work to resolve this issue as soon as possible," the district stated.

The closure only affects the high school. All other schools in the district will remain open and operate on their normal schedules.

Somerset County Vocational-Technical High School will be open and students are welcome to attend, but must provide their own transportation. However, as per SCVTHS policy, students will not be charged an absence if they are unable to attend.

A separate message will be sent to students involved in athletic or after school activities on Tuesday.
