Multiple Raritan locals were arrested last week for drug possession, shoplifting and warrants, police report.

RARITAN, NJ — Multiple Raritan locals were arrested last week for drug possession, shoplifting and warrants, police report.

Raritan Police Blotter:

On March 31: Panagis Parameritis, 36, of Raritan, was charged with Possession Of Heroin, Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Possession of a Hypodermic Syringe. The charges stemmed from an incident on March 14 when the defendant’s mother found the aforementioned items in his bedroom. Officer Robert Sinopoli investigated.

On April 5: David Merchant, 39, of Roosevelt, New York, was arrested for possession of a controlled dangerous substance following motor vehicle stop on Route 202. Officer Benjamin Griffin investigated.

On April 5: Jason Prashad, 36, of Neshanic Station, was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated following a motor vehicle stop on West Somerset Street. Officer Evan Vacchiano investigated.

On April 8: Miguel Reynoso, 23, of Norristown, PA, was arrested for Possession of Controlled Dangerous Substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Failure to Turn Over a Controlled Dangerous Substance following a motor vehicle stop on Route 202. Officer Benjamin Griffin investigated.

On April 8: Kevin Elder, 24, of Cherry Hill, was arrested for Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia following a motor vehicle stop on Route 202. Officer Damien Chromowsky investigated.

On April 8: Kadon Barnwell, 19, of Raritan, was arrested for Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia following a motor vehicle stop on Thompson Street. Officer Evan Vacchiano investigated.

On April 9: Amy Nusek, 28, of Carteret, was arrested for Defiant Trespass and Harassment as result of a unlawfully entering the residence of her ex-boyfriend on LaGrange Street. Officer Andrew Ragati and Detective Steven Bonczek investigated.

On April 9: Fidelfa Infante, 46, of Piscataway, was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated following a motor vehicle stop on Route 206. Sergeant Thomas Fisher investigated.

On April 10: Evelia Guerrero, 19, and Stefany Enriquez, 19, both of Flemington, were arrested for Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia following a motor vehicle stop on Route 202. Officer Damien Chromowsky investigated.

On April 10: Paul Mason, 29, of Raritan, was charged with Shoplifting, stemming from March 22nd when he observed on Quick Chek surveillance footage stealing a bagel and exiting the store when confronted by an employee. Detective Everett Holt investigated.

On April 10: Anastasio Soumas, 48, of Raritan, was arrested on numerous warrants out of Middlesex County for Forgery, and Driving with a Suspended License, after an Officer spotted him walking on Vanderveer Road. Soumas was turned over the Middlesex County Sheriff’s Department. Officer Benjamin Griffin investigated.
