June Art Contest

The Bridgewater Youth Council's Art Contest encourages residents to showcase their creativity and celebrate the arts in the community

Art is a great way for people of all ages to express their creativity and share their unique ideas with the community. Through the Bridgewater Youth Council's monthly Art Contest, residents have the opportunity to showcase their talents while encouraging a greater appreciation for the arts throughout the township. Each month's new theme inspires participants to think creatively and produce original artwork.

The June prompt for kids ages 7–12 was to design a creative pair of sneakers using patterns and colors of their choice. Three winners were selected this month. One winning drawing was created by Aadya Ajith, who is 6 and a half years old and designed a vibrant, imaginative pair of sneakers. Another winning entry was created by Nia Singh, a 7-year-old second grader, who showcased her creativity through a colorful and unique design. The third winning drawing was created by Vihaan Garg, who is 11 years old and incorporated original patterns and bold colors into his sneaker design. Each artwork highlights the creativity, imagination, and colorful ideas that children brought to this month's sneaker design challenge.
