Juvenile Charged, Threatened To Blow Up Warren Middle School: Police
The threat to Warren Middle School was made on May 3.
WARREN, NJ — A juvenile was charged in connection with a threat at Warren Middle School(WMS) this past Friday.
On May 3 at 7:25 a.m., a WMS staff member alerted Warren Township Police that the main office got a voicemail message from someone threatening to blow up the school, said Warren Police Chief Robert Ferreiro.
Warren Township Police along with officers from the Somerset County Sheriff's Office and Middlesex County Sheriff's Office K9 Units went to the school while it was being evacuated.

Warren Police Detectives found the juvenile left the voicemail message in an attempt to have school close for the day, said Ferreiro.

The juvenile was charged with third-degree false public alarms, on a juvenile delinquency summons, with a court date to be determined.
