L.L. Bean To Open 1st Somerset County Store In Bridgewater
The more than 15,000-square-foot store will occupy the space formerly home to Cost Plus World Market in Bridgewater, which closed in 2020.

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — L.L. Bean, the retailer offering clothing and equipment for the outdoors, will open its first Somerset County location in Bridgewater.
L.L. Bean will occupy the 15,765-square-foot space at the Chimney Rock Crossing, at 348 Chimney Rock Rd off Route 22.
The location was formerly home to Cost Plus World Market, which closed at the end of December 2020 due to the impacts of the coronavirus.

"A firm date has not yet been set, but we are currently on track to open sometime this summer," said L.L.Bean's Manager of Public Affairs Jason Sulham to Patch.
This new store will mark L.L. Bean's fourth New Jersey location. The other locations are in Freehold, Marlton, and Paramus.

L.L. Bean, a Maine-based corporation founded in 1912, operates more than 40 retail stores and factory outlets in the United States, with over two dozen more in Canada and Japan.
The store carries a full line of men's and women's apparel, camping gear, hiking and backpacking supplies, fishing equipment and footwear. Its best-known product is a pair of waterproof hunting shoes known as Bean Boots.
