Latest Bridgewater Coronavirus Updates: 7 Deaths, 99 Cases

As of Monday, there are a total of 902 cases and 31 deaths in Somerset County.

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — Bridgewater Township now has seven deaths and 99 confirmed cases of the new coronavirus as of Monday, according to officials. The new coronavirus outbreak in New Jersey and across the nation is having vast impacts in Bridgewater, including the closure of schools and many businesses.

The number of cases of the illness caused by the virus, known as COVID-19, continue to rise and additional measures and closures continue to be announced.

As of Monday, there are a total of 902 cases and 31 deaths in Somerset County.

New Jersey had 3,663 new cases and 86 more deaths on Monday. The numbers marked the second day in a row that the numbers were much lower than the outbreak's worst day on Saturday. This brings the state's total to 41,090 cases and 1,003 deaths.

All Raritan Valley Community College classes will continue online for the remainder of the semester due to the new coronavirus outbreak. MORE.
