Living Vs. Zombies: Bridgewater Local Opens Survival Laser Tag

Step onto the battlefield in Flemington equipped with AR15s and handguns and get ready to do battle against zombies.

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — Step onto the battlefield equipped with AR15s and handguns and get ready to do battle against zombies. Bridgewater native Vic Pellegrini is taking laser tag to a whole new level.

Pellegrini, a Bridgewater-Raritan Regional High School graduate, opened Bullseye Virtual Combat on Schaefer Farms in Flemington last year.

“It’s a new tactical laser tag concept built for adults and people who grew up playing the much lamer version in the sports arenas,” Pellegrini said.

The 15,000-square-foot outdoor field includes hallways, hay bales and obstacles where players get 10 minutes to battle and unlimited ammo. Weapons are very realistic including AR-15 replicas that have actual recoil from CO2 charged magazines.

New this year, Pellegrini is offering a zombie survival game where teams not only battle against each other but must also survive against zombies who are equipped to inflict damage on you.

If a player gets “infected” they step out until they recover to get back into the game. While waiting in the respawn area, players can track their ammo, health and team points on a television.

“It’s really fun to play and exciting,” Pellegrini said. “We have smoke machines, black lights and strobe lights. All of the zombies have professional makeup. And afterwards, players get a print up of the entire game to see who they killed the most, who killed you the most. Plus add in handguns and grenades in the game. Very cool stuff."

Bullseye is open year round and open to private groups, corporate events and birthday parties.
