Man Arrested In Car Burglary Spree In 2 Somerset County Towns: Police
Brian F. Cicerelle, 53, of South Bound Brook, was charged in connection to multiple car burglaries, thefts, and credit card fraud.

SOMERSET COUNTY, NJ — A South Bound Brook man was charged after police say he burglarized multiple cars across two towns, said Somerset County Prosecutor John P. McDonald and SomersetCounty Prosecutor’s Office Chief of County Detectives Francisco Roman Jr.
Brian F. Cicerelle, 53, of South Bound Brook, was charged with eight counts of third-degree burglary, three counts of third-degree credit card fraud, two counts of fourth-degree credit card theft, and one count of third-degree resisting arrest.
Numerous reported car burglaries that happened during the early morning hours between Aug. 29 and Sept. 9 prompted an investigation by the South Bound Brook Police Department, Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office Burglary Unit, and the Franklin Township Police Department.

The investigation revealed Cicerelle was identified as the suspect involved in the car burglaries, said McDonald.
On Sunday, Sept. 10 at 3:11 a.m., a South Bound Brook Police Officer pulled over Cicerelle during a motor vehicle stop as a result of this investigation.

Cicerelle was told that he was under arrest and resisted the officers by refusing to comply with the arrest. He was later arrested without further incident.
Cicerelle was taken to the Somerset County Jail where he was lodged pending a detention hearing in the matter.
