Man Dies After Falling 30 Feet Through Bridgewater Warehouse Roof

Frank Bartholomew, 34, of Pennsylvania ​had fallen through the roof of Brook Warehouse and landed onto the floor, Bridgewater Police said.

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — A Pennsylvania man died from his injuries after falling 30 feet through a warehouse roof in Bridgewater Township on Monday night.

On Monday at 10:31 p.m., a roof worker, Frank Bartholomew, 34, from Pennsylvania, had reportedly fallen through the roof of Brook Warehouse, at 5 Van Veghten Dr., and landed onto the warehouse floor, Bridgewater Police said.

Police began life saving measures before Finderne Rescue Squad and Medics from Robert Wood Johnson Medical Center in Somerville took over care.

Bartholomew was taken to Robert Wood Johnson Medical Center in New Brunswick where he died from his injuries, police said.

Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) responded and are assisting with the investigation. The Finderne Fire Department also assisted.
