Man In Stolen Car Who Sped Away From Police In Warren, Arrested: Cops
The Bronx driver fled from police at a high rate of speed, drove recklessly, and disregarded red traffic signals, said police.
WARREN, NJ — A Bronx, NY man in a stolen car was arrested and charged after he reportedly fled from police, announced Warren Township Chief of Police Robert Ferreiro.
Abdourahmane Seck, 35, of Bronx, NY, was charged with eluding (second-degree) and receiving stolen property(a disorderly persons offense).
On July 2 at around 9 p.m., Warren Township Police received an alert from an Automated License Plate Reader (ALPR), of a vehicle bearing a stolen license plate.

Within minutes of receiving the alert, officers found the vehicle in a shopping center where a suspect, later identified as Seck, was also located, said Ferreiro.
When officers tried to approach Seck, he fled the shopping center at a high rate of speed, driving recklessly, disregarding red traffic signals, and improperly passing other vehicles, said Ferreiro.

Officers tried a motor vehicle stop, but Seck continued at a high rate of speed, ultimately eluding the officers, said Ferreiro.
Through various investigative means, Seck was positively identified as the suspect involved in this incident.
A warrant was issued for the charges against Seck. Additionally, numerous motor vehicle summonses were issued to Seck for his reckless operation of a motor vehicle while eluding officers.
On Aug. 24, Seck was arrested in New York, extradited to New Jersey for the above charges, and lodged at the Somerset County Jail pending a detention hearing.
