Man Wanted For Sex Assault Of 13-Year-Old In Somerset County: Police

SOMERSET, NJ — A man is wanted by the Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office(SCPO) for the sex assault of a 13-year-old, said authorities.

Cipriano Diaz was named SCPO's Fugitive of the Month for April 2024.

Diaz is wanted by the Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office for one count of second-degree sexual assault on a victim under the age of 13 years of age and one count of second-degree endangering the welfare of children which occurred between Jan. 1, 2018 to March 25, 2022, in Franklin Township, said SCPO.

A warrant has been issued for his arrest.

The SCPO released the following information on Diaz:

• Date of birth: 11/03/1985
• Height: 6'3"
• Weight: 210
• Hair: Black
• Eyes: Brown
• Tattoos: Face scar - left cheek
• Last known address: Somerset

Anyone with information as to the whereabouts of Diaz should contact the Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office Fugitive Unit.
