Middlesex Boro Resident Receives Award
Filomena Yarussi, a Middlesex Borough resident, receives Volunteer of the Quarter for 10 years of service.
Gentiva Hospice, a Kindred Healthcare affiliate, is proud to announce that Filomena Yarussi, a resident of Middlesex Borough, as been awarded Volunteer of the Quarter. On Dec. 20, 2015, Elaine Carlsen, Manager of Volunteer Services, presented the award in celebration of Ms. Yarussi’s 10 years of service. Filomena has demonstrated the highest level of dedication and compassion to those facing life-limiting illnesses.
As a specialized type of healthcare, Gentiva Hospice allows terminally ill patients to live out their days as fully and comfortable as possible. Filomena is part of a very special team that provides friendly visits to reminisce, read and offer emotional support to patients and their loved ones.
