The Midland School campus recently underwent a significant and green transition with the installation of a solar field of 984 panels at the western edge of our property near the pool. This environmentally-friendly solar initiative is now fully operational and will result in improved energy efficiency at Midland. In fact, Midland expects to replace 100 percent of the School’s electrical needs with solar renewable energy.
“Going solar enables Midland to save money, generate emissions-free electricity, and help the environment,” says Midland’s Financial Director, Gregg Sweetman. “Solar-powered classrooms are now part of Midland’s bright future and that is something we are very proud of.”
