Milling, Paving Work On Washington Valley Road Expected For 2 Weeks
Road work is also expected to continue in Watchung as part of Somerset County's Road Resurfacing and ADA Compliance Program.

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — Paving work in Bridgewater is expected to roll out on Monday in Bridgewater and continue for the next two weeks.
Beginning on April 4 and continuing through Friday, April 15, Somerset County will be doing milling and paving work on County Route 620 Washington Valley Road in Bridgewater from Spring Run Lane to Mount Prospect.
Work will be done between 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

This is part of Somerset County's 2021 Road Resurfacing and ADA Compliance Program.
Additionally, inlet and manhole repairs will continue on multiple Watchung roadways from Monday, April 4 through Friday, April 8.

Watchung roads included are County Route 527 Valley Road from Bayberry Lane to 1000-feet east of Bonnie Burn Road, County Route 531 Somerset Street from Watchung Circle to divided island by Watchung Avenue, and County Route 531 Watchung Circle from Mountain Avenue to Somerset Street to Stirling Road.
Work will be done from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. and a single lane will be closed between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m.
Construction on the above Watchung roadways will then transition to milling and paving work beginning on Monday, April 18 through Friday, April 22.
