RARITAN, NJ — This year instead of the usual parade, a motorcade will drive through the streets of Raritan in honor of John Basilone on Sept. 20.
The John Basilone Parade Committee is looking for "military vehicles" and "vehicles with military personnel riding in it" to be in this motorcade.
All vehicles for the motorcade will line up at 12:15 p.m. on Prospect Avenue (off First Avenue where the Washington School used to be) and then at 1 p.m. begin to drive through the streets of Raritan. A route will be released as it gets closer to the event.
